What we have decided as an organisation, is that wherever it is possible, we will only collect information about you that will allow us to facilitate the best client experience that you can have with At Home In The World. Where possible, and inline with the governing laws of New South Wales, Australia, we will only keep personal information for as long as it is necessary to facilitate the provision of service to you.
In this policy, we wish to share with you how carefully we utilise the personal information you share with us. We will NEVER on-sell your personal information, or data to any third-party. We will, on occasion, have to share your details with third-parties partners and service providers, such as Stripe in order to facilitate payment for our service(s) / products, and this policy has been created to authentically share with you how, when, and where it is necessary to collect this information, and what we do to we ensure it is kept safe and protected. We also utilise Mighty Networks to provide our services and offerings for Museley community. We recognise that any personal information we collect about you will only be used for the purposes indicated in our policy, where we have your consent to do so, or as otherwise required or authorised by law. It is important to us that you are confident that any personal information we collect from you or is received by us, will be treated with appropriate respect ensuring protection of your personal information. Our commitment in respect of personal information is to abide by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and any other relevant law.

WHY WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION
We collect and receive Information about you in order to conduct our business and to provide our products and services. We also collect Information about you to enable us to directly market our products and services to you. If you apply for employment with us we may also collect personal information about you. If you use our Museley Community, we will also collect or store the information you volunteer or post on the community as a point of facilitation for fostering friendships, communication, community, and participation in events, gatherings or for the purpose of purchasing goods or services.
HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION
Information may be collected by us in a number of circumstances, including when you:
apply to become a client of At Home In The World, or apply for one of our products or services; when you sign up for one of our email or marketing lists; attend an event hosted by us; or apply for employment with us.
Where reasonable and practical, we will collect Information about you directly from you or one of your representatives or from publicly available information. However, we may also collect Information about you from third parties, such as a partner or spouse who contacts us on your behalf, from our contractors who supply services to us, through our introducers, and from advisers such as accountants or lawyers or other organisations authorised by you.
If you do not provide the Information requested by us, we may not be able to provide you with our services.
If you provide Information to us about another individual or about an entity with which you are associated, you must ensure that you are entitled to disclose that Information to us and that, without us taking any further steps required by privacy laws or by our general duty of confidentiality, we may collect, use and disclose such Information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit any of our Sites, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or services/products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are also talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We use Information provided to us for the purpose for which it has been provided, for reasonably related secondary purposes, any other purpose you have consented to and any other purpose permitted under the Privacy Act. This may include using your Information for the following purposes:

WITH WHOM WILL WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you become a member of our Museley Community, Personal Information about you or others that you may personally volunteer, post or share within the community, including and not limited to information about your or another persons health, race or ethnic background, their religion, trade union membership, political opinion, sexual preference or criminal record will be stored on our third-party service provider Mighty Networks' own secure server. We are assured by Mighty Networks that this information is treated with a high degree of security and privacy, where this type of personal information is not generally shared with third-parties. However, we cannot and do not guarantee that they will not share your information with other third-parties. In participating as a community member of Museley you indemnify us against any misuse of your information or other parties personal information administered by Mighty Networks and with this an associated loss, damage, injury, harm, misfortune or death. Mighty Networks convey that they do not on-sell personal data, however, if you have concerns about the way in which they might share your personal information you will need to refer to Mighty Networks' Privacy Policy. Should you have specific concerns you will need to address these directly with Mighty Networks Help Network as we are not responsible for the formulation or adjudication of their Privacy Policy.
We may from time to time use Google Analytics to help us understand how you may use the Site. Sometimes, we may be required or authorised by Australian law to disclose your personal information. Circumstances in which we may disclose your personal information would be in response to a lawful request from a Court, Tribunal or law enforcement agency by way of a subpoena. From time to time, we may also be required to provide Information about you to a foreign law enforcement agency or foreign regulator.
